COMPOSITION: a mixture of water and earthen clay which has a natural look on the other hand vitrified tiles are a mixture of silica, clay & quartz. It has an artificial look.
TEXTURE: For those who love rough surfaces, ceramic tiles are for them, it has rough surfaces & give your area a classy look.
Vitrified tiles have glossy & smooth surface
STRENGTH: ceramic tiles have less strength while vitrified tiles have high breaking strength.
STAINING RESISTANCE: Due to the glossy finish vitrified tiles are slippery but easy to clean. Ceramic tiles are not slippery because of their rough surface.
COST: ceramic tiles are more affordable than vitrified tiles. it is a great solution for flooring & walling while vitrified tiles are more expensive than ceramic tiles.
INSTALLATION: installing ceramic tiles is simpler. Skied labor is required. On the other way installation is easy, and does not require skied labor.
REPLACEMENT & REPAIR: To restore & repair ceramic tiles is much easier than vitrified tiles, while to repair vitrified tiles trained labor & specialized equipment are required.
